I love pushing my creative boundaries and would love to help you bring your creative vision to life!

Pricing

Engraving starts at $50 per item and increases based on the complexity of the design (additional words, florals, etc.). The price includes one word/name (+$5 per additional word) and metallic color fill (only available for smooth surfaces).

Only if requested, digital mock-ups will be provided before engraving, and will include one revision (+$25).

Minimum order of $100 (before taxes and shipping).

For perfume engravings, please fill out the Perfume Engraving Request Form.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking and can be made online with a valid credit card or ACH transfer.

What can be engraved?

Many different materials can be customized via engraving or pyrography techniques. Send me an email (rinelle@creatfor.com) if you aren’t sure whether your item can be personalized and I would be happy to take a look!

Engraving is suitable for most glass, metal, and stone surfaces. Ideas for engraving include:

Pyrography is great for most leather, faux/vegan leather, and wood materials. Ideas for pyrography and/or heat-foiling include:

  • Small Leather Goods (wallets, card holders)

  • Large Leather Goods (purses, bags)

  • Charcuterie Boards

  • Wooden Cutting Boards

  • Watch Straps

  • Luggage Tags

  • Leather Keychains

Can you engrave my wine bottle?

Any orders for wine & spirits are for *pick up only* in San Diego, California, USA. Due to federal regulations, alcohol is not available for shipping. If you are outside of the San Diego area, get in touch and I will do my best to connect you with an engraver in your area.

Is there anything that cannot be engraved?

Yes! Pressurized bottles (e.g., champagne and bubblies) pose a risk of explosion during or even weeks after the hand-engraving process. For safety reasons, pressurized bottles will be painted by hand.

What is the process?

After you submit your form, I’ll review the details. Then I’ll contact you via email to confirm booking availability and whether your item(s) is eligible for engraving, pyrography, or heat-foiling. If your request is approved, I’ll send the contract & invoice, and you can order your item(s) online and ship directly to me. Once I receive your item(s), I’ll engrave it and ship it right back to you. Easy peasy!

How far in advance should I place my order?

As early as possible, but at least 2-3 weeks in advance. This is especially important if you are not local to San Diego and need your items shipped. Shipping typically takes 3-5 business days to deliver to my studio, 1-2 days for me to design and engrave, and another 3-5 business days for return shipping back to you. Shipping is beyond my (and your!) control, so I recommend inquiring as soon as possible.

Can I have my engraving done within a week?

If you’re in San Diego, most likely yes! We can arrange the drop-off and pick-up to and from my studio, but please note that all projects that require 14 days or less turnaround time will incur a 30%-200% rush fee on top of the project’s total cost. If you are on a tight timeline, let me know in your form and we’ll see what we can do!

Shipping & Handling (S&H)

S&H fees start at $15 and increase based on the size and weight of the final package. All packages are shipped via UPS and will have a tracking number. Please note that once your package is shipped, it becomes the carrier’s responsibility to deliver it to you on time. If your order is delayed after it has shipped, I will do my best to help you locate your package; however, any and all shipping delays are beyond my control.

Due to the nature of custom orders, all sales are final. No refunds or cancellations.
