My professional equipment is portable, elegant, and doesn’t take much room, which allows me engrave on site at your storefront or event space with minimal setup.

Live Calligraphy for Brand Events & Private Celebrations
Create an interactive and buzz worthy experience for your guests with live calligraphy! On-Site Pyrography
& Heat Foiling
Pyrography (the art of writing with fire) is a permanent way to personalize genuine wood and leather materials. Hot-foiling (heat debossing) takes it one step further and uses heat to adhere metallic foil to a surface; it’s a beautiful way to add metallic shine and dimension to vegan leather and a variety of other materials. Truly a mesmerizing process!
Ideas for pyrography, wood-burning, and heat-foiling include (but are not limited to):

Wood: charcuterie boards, cutting boards, coasters, spatulas, wooden spoons, and more.

More than you might expect—and honestly, unconventional surfaces are my favorite.
I regularly work with glass, metal, leather, acrylic, stone, and more, personalizing items like glassware, luggage tags, notebooks, candle jars, mirror compacts, and custom gifting suites. But some of the most memorable moments come from the unexpected: pocket watches, whiskey stones, matchbooks, ribbons, oyster shells, lemons (yes, like the fruit!)—the sky’s the limit.
If it has a surface, there’s a good chance it can be customized. Share your idea and I’ll help you find the best way to make it uniquely memorable.

Capacity depends on several factors — including event duration, guest count, material type, and level of customization. We’ll review these details together during planning to ensure smooth guest flow and realistic expectations.
As a general guideline, typical output per hour is:
Hand-lettering: 35–45 items
Hand-engraving: 30–40 items
Embossing/Debossing: 30–40 items
Hot foiling: 20–30 items
Wood burning: 10–20 items
Painting: 10–15 items
For larger activations or higher guest volume, additional artists can be arranged to maintain a seamless experience — and I’m happy to coordinate that for you.

Yes — I arrive fully equipped with all tools required for the customization process, including pens, inks, paints, engraving equipment, and heat-stamping tools.
Clients typically provide the items being personalized so they align perfectly with the event or brand aesthetic. I’m always happy to advise on materials and can collaborate on sourcing if needed.

My setup is completely mobile and designed to integrate easily into event environments.
Typically, I require:
A sturdy table
A sturdy chair
Adequate lighting (I can also bring portable lamps)
A table or display space for items, intake forms, and signage (recommended)
A table for completed items ready for guest pickup (recommended)
Most of my tools are portable, but access to an electrical outlet may be required for wood-burning and leather-debossing. Setup details are confirmed in advance so everything runs smoothly on event day.

Yes — distance shouldn’t limit a good idea. While I’m based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, I can travel domestically and internationally for corporate events and brand activations.

Live event services begin at a minimum investment of $1,250, with final pricing based on event duration, customization method, location, and overall scope. Each proposal is tailored to the activation to ensure the best experience for both guests and hosts.
